Holthaus Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. understands life can be tough, but it is our responsibility to educate you so you can make smart decisions when it comes to your insurance & financial decisions. Our business philosophy is to help you feel safe, have an understanding of your insurance coverages, and feel respected in our office. We proactively & effectively help people manage their risks of everyday life.

I have been an insurance agent since 1990 and licensed to write business in Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, & Illinois. My team and I help people personalize their insurance plans that properly protect them. We are available to meet with you at your convenience and we strive for excellence in customer service. We are also a pet friendly office.

I moved to Tomah when I was 9, attended Tomah schools and graduated from Tomah High School. My wife, Kristi & I moved to Iowa & lived there for 14 years. We have 2 boys, Tyler (wife Sara) & Jordan (wife Karina). We have also been blessed with 5 beautiful grandchildren. We move back to Tomah in 2001 to begin our new business together with State Farm as Holthaus Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. In 2022, we opened our second office in Neillsville. Our purpose is to serve the surrounding communities of Tomah, Warrens, Oakdale, Kendall, Wilton, Neillsville, Loyal, as well as the many other small towns around our area.

We are members of the Chamber of Commerce in both Tomah and Neillsville. I am a member of the One Acchord Performance Company & Area Community Theater, I was on the Tomah Health Executive Board and the Hospice Board, I am a member of the Tomah/Warrens Sportsman’s Alliance, and a Rotarian. I am on the Tomah Long Range Committee and on the Cemetery Board.

I have received many honors through State Farm as an Exotic/Ambassador Traveler, Platinum Honoree, Chairmen Circle, Presidents Club, and Small Business Leader, amongst many more.

Rhonda was born and raised in Tomah and still lives in the area today. She is married and lives on a farm with her husband. He and their boys farm 1,200 acres of corn and soybeans, and produce over 800 gallons of maple syrup each year. She has 5 children and 8 grandchildren that she loves spending time with all of them any chance she can. She has been in the insurance business since 1991 and can't imagine doing anything else. Her favorite part of her job has been building relationships with people through the years that seem like family. She also enjoys meeting new people and hearing their stories. There are never two days alike in the insurance world which always keeps it interesting.

Kristi Betthauser was born and raised in Tomah. She is married and will be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary in December. They have one daughter and one son. They live just outside of Oakdale near her husband’s family farm.

While spending over 36 years in the banking industry she was lucky to meet many amazing customers over the years and build professional and personal relationships with them all. Most recently she had the opportunity to join the Holthaus State Farm family. She is looking forward to seeing a lot of her past customers and making new connections while helping the customers of the Tomah and surrounding areas with all their insurance needs.

In her spare time, she enjoys camping, attending sporting events that her adult children participate in and spending time with friends and family

Krysten was a military child who spent her childhood moving around the country and teen years in Europe. While in Europe she met and married her husband and began her family. This gave her the taste of travel and learning about different cultures. After 15 years living overseas, she decided it was time to return to the USA. She wanted to raise her 3 boys in a small town and decided to join her parents in Tomah, WI in 2013. Krysten loves being in a small town office where she can build personal relationships with our customers which allows for her to provide excellent service.
